Any work around Yes but it will cost you as we don't support people like you here. You are a rogue trader so bugger off. You don't even know the version of your Windows 10 so what hope have you got to be able to use Windows!!!!!!!! (I have no data I care about.) We don't expect any rogue trader to have any important data so go and wipe the disk clean with your toilet paper. /--- This email has been checked for viruses by Windows Defender software. //https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/windows/comprehensive-security/ -- With over 600 million devices now running Windows 10, customer satisfaction is higher than any previous version of windows. |

The User Profile Service service failed the sign-in sounds like the "usual" fault that happens from win7 upwards login as a different admin (or stick the drive in another machine and load the hive) rename the .bak version of the profile in the registry zero the refcount reboot that fixes it 9/10 times for me https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/help/947215/you-receive-a-the-user-profile-service-failed-the-logon-error-message |

Anyway, I started the VM with my Fedora Boot stick. The idea as to enable the root account with ntchpw, but the system32 directory is corrupted and won't read. So poop! I will just reinstall. I need to learn these things anyway. Thank you for the help! -T |

I use it for nothing other than research for customer. So, it will do me good to polish my install skills. It will also insure my 1804 USB sticks I am about to cut are also good. First one wasn't. -T |

Interesting that if you use Winver.exe it gives 1803 (17314.1) if you have it displayed on the desktop it says 17314.rs4_release 180410-1804. Explained in a another post = Consistent with the code signing dates(one day prior to the day) when 17134.x(1803) was released to the Windows Insiders Fast, Slow, and *Preview Ring* in April. ....w¡ñ§±¤ñ ms mvp windows 2007-2016, insider mvp 2016-2018 |
