Hi Pitbull,
Your windows sounds such as the startup and shutdown sounds are stored in a folder called Media inside your Windows folder. See if the media folder exists in your Windows folder, if it does then see if their are any files in it, if its missing then copy the folder from another PC, if it exists but has no files in it then copy the files from another PC. Once you have done that see if you have the sounds back, let me know ? Kind Regards Andy W =========================== "pitbull" wrote: Andy, somehow, i deleted all the main microsoft .wav files such as those that you can annotae to various tasks/warnings.
