Installed Win 10 - surprised
bj wrote:
In what way,or, how is it different, or better than Win7? With Windows 10, Microsoft has succeeded in moving the new "Metro" API onto the desktop. It's now a reality that a program can service both touchscreen and mouse users in a single, versatile user-interface environment. They have created the successor to Windows 7 and Windows 8, all at once. I don't consider the child's-playroom motif "better", especially when you can't get rid of it. I greatly prefer Windows 10's GUI features to Windows 7's. And even more aggravating is not being able to organize your own start menu the way you want. I installed Classic Shell's Start menu, works just as well as Windows 7's native Start menu. -- Joel Crump |
