Got the irfanview 4.40 64-bit that has win10 listed as a version
that works with it.
The 4.40 64-bit plugins haven't been all converted to 64-bit yet tho.

just FYI.

If it is a free version then I won't be surprised. Anything free is
never up to the standard expected because the developers are doing it as
a hobby. All the open source software are like that; in perpetual beta
stage or at an "incubator" state if using it in production machine.

Haven't you thought of getting something decent like Adobe Creative
Cloud? Go and download a free trial version and see if it is suitable
for you. You get 30 days to try all the features of the product free of
charge. you get 30 days whenever a new version comes out so most people
end up paying almost nothing unless they use it 24/7/365. I get a free
copy every year because of my involvement in their forums.

You obviously have not used Irfanview. It is the best image
manipulation program out there (Read the reviews)

I first installed Irfanview when I had to leave OS/2. At that time it
was the best I could find.

I have used it ever since.

It can open and save dozens (yes dozen) of image formats, including
PDF,RAW, BMP, JPG, etc. It has an OCR plugin that is as good as any
that I have used, including the one in MS Office. It has a full
complement of plugins for all kinds of special effects.

It can create multipage documents in the TIF and PDF format form any
format you can download. It also can do panorama.

It is all free so why go through the hassle of keep download free trial
version, and playing the developer.
