Default Run scheduled task "Only when logged on"

By tomorrow, I'll know the answer to this, but I'm curious.

What is the meaning of "logged on" in the scheduled task definition? Is
it simply that my userid has been logged on in the past, and not yet
logged off, or does it have to be the one whose desktop is showing?

Will the task run if the screen is locked?

My userid is logged on from the moment the welcome screen appears, but
the display is frequently locked.
