Disabling IKE in IPSec configuration
I am looking at the IPSec options provided with XP. I
cannot see any way to disable the use of IKE for exchanging keys. I would like to set up an IPSec connection to a device that only supports manual key configuration. Can this be done ? Thanks in advance. |

Disabling IKE in IPSec configuration
You can configure IPsec to negotiate hard associations
using a preshared key, yes. However, IKE is part of the IPsec definition and is still used for the negotiation. -- Roger Abell Microsoft MVP (Windows Server System: Security) MCSE (W2k3,W2k,Nt4) MCDBA "Graham Higgins" wrote in message ...
