Ha Ha Ha

Interestingly IE8 only took 10 months to become the global browser
leader.

Wow, Linux is about to be overtaken by the iPhone.

Odd that. The iPhone is very expensive and Linux is...er... free!

Just goes to show that if you have enough advertising money, you can sell
anything. Remember how many idiots bought AOL? With Linux, at least you
know your money isn't going to China, India or the Middle East.

Yes but the user has to agree to it....most Windows users are so used to
clicking "OK" without any understanding of what they are doing that they
just do it automatically, whether they need it or not...

Oops!

People malign that which they fear.

So you fear me and thus malign me.
That is rather obvious.

No one is afraid of a phony like you, Frank.

Wanna prove it coward?
Then send me a 1st class airline ticket.

I know a few Linux geeks - they all despise Microsoft with a passion
and funnily enough they're all paranoid - and they wouldn't be seen dead
using Ubuntu, so much like the mouse-driven, icon-based desktop world of
Mac and Windows.

I can't be responsible for the people you hang out with that think an OS
is some kind of religion that should remain "pure". Ubuntu and Mint are
proof that Linux isn't just for geeks anymore.

You and your fellow Linux trolls never make much sense, do you?

So explain the continued rise of Internet Explorer, which is a reversal
in the browser’s fortunes, which has continually lost share to the likes
of Firefox over the last few years. So, much for the automatic updates?
Idiots!!

Most people use IE because they don't know any better and wrongly think
that IE is secure because MS made it. Are you one of them? Just curious,
why do have Avast checking your newsgroup posts and email? I hope it
isn't because you think that will make your email and newsgroup posts safer.

Well, you're the expert!!

Tell me why having Avast scanning my emails and NG posts, providing the
same kind of protection as most commercial programs, with real-time
email and network monitoring and signature files updated on a daily
basis.

Then again, I've been using Windows for 15 years and never had a
compromised machine, yet.

Because SENDING and RECEIVING emails and newsgroup posts will NOT give

It offers no further protection and can **** up email programs.

Nor have I and I've been using MS products since 1988. I used a Mac back
