How to be Suck Cessful with Windows 10
To be Suck Cessful with Windows 10 requires the following.
1. A computer with Windows 10 installed 2. An install CD or DVD for Windows XP or Windows 7 3. A hour of your time. Place CD or DVD in computer CD drive. Turn on the computer. Follow the instructions to install Windows XP or Windows 7. Be sure to allow it to format the hard drive and remove everything on it. (You may want to backup any personal data before you do this)_. Once the computer installation is finished, you will be Suck Cessful with Windows 10. Enjoy using Windows 7 or Windows XP, (and being free from Windows 10). |

It was very useful for the Windows 8 interface, which was a mess. It also adds some nice refinements to Windows 7. But Windows 10's interface is quite usable out of the box. Nein is still a dog when it does its endless updates. I'm surprised how little I'm aware of it updating itself while I use it. I don't like that it updates itself without my permission in the first place, but in practice it hasn't been a real problem for me. |

I am simply grateful that I do not require to pay an annual subscription (which I would willingly do). |

You may be missing the point here :-) Turn on the computer. Follow the instructions to install Windows XP or Windows 7. Be sure to allow it to format the hard drive and remove everything on it. It's easy and you should do it periodically to get a truly clean system. |

Until your unsupported software becomes riddled with viruses, then repeat the process. If you're the kind of person who finds himself picking up malware on a regular basis, a 'supported' OS isn't going to save you. You need to examine your Internet behaviors. |

The world is a big place so I always thought there'd be at least one person who would willingly pay MS for the updates that have come at no additional cost for all of these years. Now I know that you're the guy. |

As far as I'm concerned, Classic Shell improves it, and Start 10 is even better than Classic Shell; it improves it even more. |

I can "go just as fast" (whatever that means) on Windows 10 as I do with any other version. Faster, for some things. If you haven't been able to deal with its small leaning curve after all this time, I'd say it's your problem, not Windows'. |

I can find things faster with Classic Shell. The learning curve from 7 to Nein (w10) was enormous, not "small". I had customer in tears. I was in stitches laughing at some of the positioning of things. I have managed to find everything I need to find without Classic Shell, but it takes me a lot longer to get to them. And each YUGE update of Nein has to change a bunch of stuff, like removing the Control Panel (I can still get at it, but what a pain in the ass to have to stop what I am doing and restore the functionality.) My Virtual Machine of Nein deliberately does not have Classic Shell installed as I want to see what my customer see on stock machines. I want to feel their pain, so to speak. |
