Shadow : Windows 11 ? I don't believe it's been released yet. Actually, it's called Linux Redmond 1.0. Yrrah or Windows FU (Windows For You). Mandatory M$ account with valid credit card required for WFU to function. Monthly access fees "low as" $49.99 (really $79.99+ but all businesses lie, they call it "taxes and fees"). |

I also keep Firefox on my machine as sometimes I need to load web pages that I develop to test it for compliance over the board. /--- This email has been checked for viruses by Windows Defender software. //https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/windows/comprehensive-security/ Microsoft Edge is alright but just about every browser is a lot more compatible with pages than it is. I like IE much better after my go to browsers. You must be the one person on Earth who prefers Internet Explorer over anything. Still, I admire your loyalty to Microsoft. You just you made me feel bad and wrecked my day because I still use Internet Explorer. I bet you are really going to get on me when you realize I am posting from Outlook Espress. The simple to follow instructions on that page says: 'Select which apps can run in background' with a host of toggles against the apps, including 'microsoft edge'. Not on my Windows10 it doesn't! |

Running these on Windows 10 Pro :-). I'd be using Firefox but swore off of their products when it was revealed that they donated to a group associated with Antifa. Chrome would also be interesting but it's Google and they love spying on their users. As such, I stick to Vivaldi simply because it is neither and unlike Edge, it's actually pretty good. I think Thunderbird is a great program, but I use Forte Agent for Usenet instead. Again, it's all about principle and I'll gladly use an inferior product if it means that an organization I can't stand can't claim me as a user in their statistics. |
