Default Windows Messenger

On the Windows Messenger I had a hacker that caused so
many problems... I changed my password two different
times... The third time I simply thought "the heck with
this." I went to the Add and Delete and removed the
Windows Messenger listed program... Of course it did not
remove the Messenger Window that is still on my
screen... I cannot reinstall the program... I'm stuck
with the Windows looking at me and the logo still in my
toolbar...

Is there any solution to this???

I've contacted Microsoft Support and they keep telling me
to try another address...

HELP !!!
