Why do I need 25 minutes to read content of a 4.5 GB DVD+RW ?
I inserted a 4.5 (simple, single-layer) DVD+RW burned with ISO format with 10 (big)
files on it. When I want to copy the content inside WInExplorer from this DVD to a local folder it takes approx 25 minutes. Can this be true ? How can I speed-up the reading ? Is there a parameter which I can modify? The DVD drive is a LG GSA4163B which is officially able to read 16x Eugen |

enable disk caching as per
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=324805 You will need to configure the system for a perfmon log to verify if the actual disk subsystem is slow or where the bottlenecks are -- Regards Gurpreet Singh "Eugen Austermann" wrote: I inserted a 4.5 (simple, single-layer) DVD+RW burned with ISO format with 10 (big) files on it.
