Default XP Home Fierwall & Networking

-----Original Message-----
I am running a home network with 3 PCs. The main PC

using
XP Home and connected through a cable modem. I have
a 'bridge' which connects two other computers.
1. A laptop with an Intel wireless adapter (98se)
2. Desktop with a linksys HPNA(XP home)
I have been unable to configure commercial firewalls
(McAfee & Zonealrm) to allow the other client pcs to

gain
internet access.

I have therefore given up and use Mcafee virus scanning
combined with the Win XP Home internet firewall (on main
pc) This works fine and I have made checks to ensure
that my computer is protected.

My question is..is the XP firewall sufficient? Is this
programme sufficient protection. I have heard

conflicting
advice.

.try using AVG antivirus it is the only one that would

work for me on xp
