is it possible to install xp home on more than one puter?
i have 4 puters at my home and was wondering if I had to
have a cd key for each one?

If you were using a proper newsreader you would have been able to search
the group for some of the many times this has been posted.

Hi Gordon BP,

In microsoft.public.windowsxp.newusers you remarked...

the group for some of the many times this has been posted.

I think "New User" is the keyword here. How long had you been using
a computer before you realised Gravity wasn't only responsible for
apples falling to the ground? (Rhetorical question).

I've changed Messenger startup from automatic to manual in MMC, so WHY when
I turn on my machine does it still appear in the systray, and WHY does it
automatically sign-on when I dial up? Do I have to tell the service not to
start at all?

Don't think that query has been posted half as many times as the one
about installing on more than one machine ;-)

never hurts to point out how awful the web access is to the MS
newsgroups and that ANY newsreader (including OE) is infinitely better !
