Default Is there a way to load "run" from "Windows Explorer"

Hi All,

I locate a lot of files with Windows Explorer (WE) (NOT Internet
Explorer).

Often times I have to go back and winr to re-hunt the stinker
down so I can add command line parameters.

Is there any way to trigger and load winr from WE? Or, maybe
some way from WE to add command line parameters?

Many thanks,
-T

I use Send To Toys from
http://www.gabrieleponti.com/software/ for that.
Right-clicking on the file in Windows Explorer and selecting 'Send to Command
Prompt' from the popup menu opens a command window with the executable name and
path complete with a trailing space ready to add command parameters.
There's an entry in Control Panel to change the general settings for the utility.

And having just updated to the latest version, it now has a 'Send to Run...' entry
which is exactly what you want.

Hi John,

I love it for me, but I am 98% doing this over Go To Assist
on customer's machines. I am hesitant to install utilities on
other's machines.

Sort of like me loving "Classic Shell" for Frankenstein (w8) and
Son-of-Frankenstein (W-Nein, oops, W10). But, since the customer
have never seen it, I suffer with the stock way of doing it.
(When the customers want Classic Shell, Yippee!)

So, I was kind of hoping there was a way to do it with
stock WE.

Thank you for the help!

Native method A:

Shift-right-click the executable and select "Copy as path".

Hit the Windows key or the Start button and type CMD /K and a space,
Ctrl+V and another space, and your parameters.

Native method B:

If you have a command prompt already open, click and drag the
executable into it and then add your parameters.
