Default Security Alert Question

I have Sygate 5.7 installed and working. I shutoff the XP Firewall and
checked the box "I have a firewall solution that I'll monitor myself",
I'm the only user. I thought this action was supposed to stop the
popup alert, but each time I startup windows, this alert shows up. Is
this normal and if not, how can I stop it from showing (its very
annoying). tia

We don't know the Exact Security Message and we don't know the Firewall
solution which you will monitor yourself?.
Can you please post back with the exact Wording of the Alert and do you have
Anti-virus and anti-malware installed?.
It is good if it is true, that mean your system is healthy but you need to
act and secure it before get out of hand.
HTH and happy new year.
