Default Mysterious(?) Green Arrow in My PC partition list

I have a SSD for a C: drive and a 2TB spinning drive for everything
else. It is divided into two partions, F: and G:. When I open My
Computer, I see C, F, and G as I would expect, but the drive icon for G
has a big, green downward-point arrow atop the disk pic. I thought it
might be related to sharing, but nothing in that partition is shared.
?

It might be hard to track down, as it doesn't necessarily
have to be logged in the Registry, as in this example.

While a .ico file could be involved, it could just as
easily be a resource extracted from a DLL.

You could search for files with extension .ico and see
if any have a relatively new date stamp. Implying they
were added recently.

In article ,
lid says...

Google has an image search, with the ability to upload
an image file, and it will look for similar items.

Too bad it's such a bad piece of software.

You could take a screenshot of the icon and upload
it somewhere, and post a URL.

There are also tools for examining shell32.dll and
friends, and looking inside. I don't know if there's
a tool which will automatically traverse all of C:
doing that.

I think I found it! I unpacked the latest Win 10 ISO into
a directory on G:. setup.exe has a -tiny- version of the
same green arrow icon as shows up (larger) in the listing
of all the partitions.
