"How to recover an off-screen window" http://www.virtualdub.org/blog/pivot/entry.php?id=228 In particular, look in the comments too, as there are other suggestions there. "This worked for no Move option for item that was in the taskbar: "For windows that don't show up on the taskbar (some dialog windows), you could press Alt + Tab to cycle through windows, picking the one that doesn't appear on the taskbar, then Alt + Spacebar, select Move and tap an arrow key to move it." HTH, Paul Dialogs here, don't seem to get treated like applications. Here, an item which appears on a Taskbar, can be moved. But that wouldn't work for a dialog. https://www.howtogeek.com/howto/wind...eyboard-trick/ The old WinXP way probably wasn't as particular. Paul |

Paul I tested with GIMP photo editor and the floating dialogs don't "listen" to the "Cascade Windows" command. There might still be cases, where Windows 10 is worse at this, than WinXP. Paul |
