Default sysmonxp.exe - no disk

From few days I started getting this message:

sysmonxp.exe - no disk

there is no disk in the drive. please insert a disk into drive \ device \
device\harddisk1\dr1

Is this Virus?

any idea?

Yep looks like you have been infected by the Netsky.Q or one of its
variants.

Thanks for your great help. I did Scan and found lot of Virus files, its
deleted.... but some files was not able to delete, the message I got a

1. Found the w32/netsky.q.dam virus!!!
C:\winnt\sysMonxp.exe coiuld not be repaired

2. found the w32/netsky.q.dam Virus!!
C:\winnt\sysMonxp.exe coiuld not be repaired

what I have to do next?

I'm on LAN. Is going to infect other computers on network?

Hello
You will need to quarantine them then go to manage quarantined files and see
if you can delete them.
You do not want to repair them, they will need to be deleted.

Be sure to visit MS Windows Update site and download the updates this is for
your security and safety.

The thing most people do not know is that after they buy a computer with
virus protection installed they have to go in and register and download the
updates and continue to update it or set it to auto update then after a
period of time the subscription will run out usually in 90-180 days at that
time they will have to purchase new protection either online or from a
retail store and at that time they will be able to update for a period of
365 days (1 year).

Yes, all our pc set it to auto update.

I was not trying to repair them. I got those messages when I scanned the PC
from

think, I need some more to about how to deleted them..

Lets do this then, disable system restore, open the link scroll to the
bottom there is another removal tool.


Follow the instructions and then enable system restore.
