Default Network got Disconnected in XP OS

Grretings All,

We have workstations with XP Professional as the OS.We are using an
application called WinAxe(X-Session) for connecting to the UNIX
server.Sometimes the network connection got disconnected and connected
again. The network icon in the task bar shows network disconnected and
after few seconds it shows connected again. At this time X-session is
got discconected and getting the UNIX login screen again.

Why this is happening. Is any setting problem

Please help me

Best Regards

Check to make sure that Windows is not turning off the NIC to save
power. Do this from the NIC's Advanced Properties in Device Manager.
