temporary internet files
I have installed XP professional on my laptop and I can
no longer fine the temporary internet files. Any suggestions on where to look. The Options file under Tools says it is in documents/mcintosh/local settings. There is no file called local settings so I have been unable to fine the temporary internet files folder. Thank you |

temporary internet files
First, go to Control PanelFolder OptionsView. In the Advanced Settings
section, select Show Hidden Files and Folders. Click OK and close Control Panel. Assuming WinXP is installed on C:, you should be able to find the Temporary Internet Files on this path: C:\Documents and Settings\USER\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files, where USER is the WinXP user account name. Each user account will have its own folder. randwulf57 wrote in message ... I have installed XP professional on my laptop and I can no longer fine the temporary internet files.
