How do I get rid of logon window after starting Windows XP?
Hi everyone! I need your help
I formatted my hard drive and reinstalled Windows XP. Windows XP would start without a logon window, which is great. I then downloaded and installed all the security patches and updates. After doing this, when I boot up XP, I get a user account logon window, I then click OK without entering a password, and XP continues the boot process. I do not want to go through this every time I boot up. I went to User Accounts in the Control Panel where there is "Maurice ' for the Computer Administrator and a Guest account, which is turned off. After selecting the Guest account, there is not an option to delete the guest account. How do I delete the guest account which is what I was told would enable XP to boot up completely without my intervention with the Windows logon? Thanks, Maurice |
