Logon using a link
Hello,
I want to create a link on Logon Screen. When I click on this link (without typing in username/password/Domain info) it should take me to a website. And I should not be able to minimize this page to access desktop and the Start Menu should give only Logoff option. Can anyone please guide me how to do this ? O.S: Windows XP SP2 Regards, Faisal. |

Logon using a link
Hi Faisal:
You need to be logged in to an account to use Windows XP. Are you trying to setup a computer for public use that displays a single web site without allowing viewers to do anything else on the computer? If so, there are established ways to do this. Here is one that you may be interested in: "Internet Explorer Administration Kit 7" http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/ie/bb219541.aspx --- Leonard Grey Errare humanum est mfaisald wrote: Hello, I want to create a link on Logon Screen. The concept is that if someone forgets his/her password then instead of calling helpdesk, they click on this customized link and it will take them to a website where they can answer security questions and reset their password.
