How to detect if I use "AES" or "TKIP" as encryption method for "WPA-PSK"? Client or AP requirement?
Currently I am connected to an Access point.
I know that I am using as Network Authentication "WPA-PSK". However how do I find out which encryption method "AES" or "TKIP" I am currently using? Is the encryptiob method a requirement of the remote accesspoint hardware or can every local WLAN client individually decide how he wants to communicate with the Accesspoint? Kevin |
