Default Loss of shared folder/files across mapped network drive

I have a Windows XP desktop that is mapped to a Windows 2003 Server Std that
loses shared folder/file access. When I explore my computer I see the mapped
network drive in the list but cannot access the folder/files until I click on
the mapped network drive letter associated to the folder/files. After the
folder/files are displayed I regain access. Any ideas on what is causing this?

I know you can get that if you lose your connection and reconnect?
Have you tried to deleted the map and redo it with reconnect at logon?

Thanks for the reply. I attempted to disconnect, shutdown, boot the computer
and map the drive again - making sure the "reconnect at logon" was selected -
and still have the same problem. Any other thoughts?
