Windows XP SP1a
Does any remember hotfix 811493 that caused slow system performance ?
I think this service pack had this patch in it - does anyone know whether this is ok in SP1a now ?

that patch was not in SP1 and is not in SP1a. The only difference between SP1 and SP1a is the removal of Microsoft Virtual Machine. 811493 was re-released a while back.
