2 xp installations on one hard drive
I've had to reinstall xp on a couple of computers in my
district and when I use the xp cd to reinstall I delete the old partition and create a new one then format using NTFS format. well when all is said and done the computer reboots and asks me which xp I would like to load and it shows 2 xp operating systems well one works if you select it but the other one doesn't it just goes into a black screen. so how do you delete the one that doesn't work? |

You will have to take the bad entry out of the boot.ini file.

And one easy way to do this with msconfig.exe. On the Boot.ini tab, click
Check All Boot Paths. RC -- R. C. White, CPA San Marcos, TX Microsoft Windows MVP "aaron" wrote in message ...
