https://www.cnbc.com/2019/12/10/appl...xed-out-price- is-52199-before-pro-display-xdr-screen.html At this time there's a 6% cashback offer on purchases made with the Apple Card which brings the cost down. That 6% cash back can be significant. I configured a new Mac Pro system. Unfortunately the 8TB SSD option is not available yet, but 4TB should be sufficient. I included dual monitors as well. Without the 6% rebate the price for the configuration I want is $73,476.05 including tax. This is without AppleCare. The problem is that the maximum credit limit on the Apple Card is $30,000. I don't know if they'll let me send in a payment for $44,000 prior to ordering so I'll have credit balance of $44,000 then have a balance of only $29,476.05 when I make the purchase. I'll need to buy a copy of Windows 10 as well since some of the CAD applications I use are Windows-only. The Tesla will have to wait. |

It will be interesting to see how these sell. And the Teslas. |

No, it's a BS bit of trolling. I have an iMac (2012) i7 and it is quite spunky after 7 years. Indeed when I update to MacOS 10.15 I may get a small bump as it drops support for 32 bit apps. That will make the OS a little leaner with fewer branches in the code... Can't say the same for my 5 year old iPhone 6, alas. |

A Quadra 900, even in basic configuration, cost more than some cars in the early 1990s. Mactracker lists its initial price (October of 1991) as $7200, which translates to about $13500 in today's dollars. The price came down, but in 1993, when I first started shopping for a Mac, it was still going for $5k -- about as much as a base model Hyundai of the time. |

Now add in the common Radius display and a laser printer all suitable of desktop publishing in that era. I believe you'll find this combo was well over $10,000 back then. -- Я гость в отеле |
