Default Can I make an ftp folder in Windows Explorer library?

Hi All,

W7-pro-x64-sp1

In Windows Explorer (not Internet Explorer), is there a way
I configure something to click on in the left column that
would direct to an ftp site?

I can type in the address bar "ftp://bozo@server" and it
does work. I would just like something in the left column
for the user to click on.

Many thanks,
-T

You are in good luck. Yes, there is a way for you to add an ftp site to
the left column of Windows Explorer.

My W7's are cooperating. I have one XP that keeps trying
to run and ftp site in the web browser, no matter what I
click on in advanced settings. I will prevail!

Why not just post it here. By the time someone reads this, you won't
be reading this group, and they will have nothing.

Okay.

Copy it into a text file with .reg as the extension. Then
double click on it
