Default Dial Up

From IE Explorer Go into Tools --Internet Options --
Connections and choose Never dial a connection. (I
assume that you have DSL or Cable modem or are connected
to the internet through a LAN, which is why you don't need
the dialup.)

Just my opinion

I foolishly downloaded a screen saver last week and it

did all kinds of
things to my system. I have cleaned out all the files I

can find and it
seems to be okay. But, whenever I open Windows Explorer

or Control Panel,
it calls for a dial up connection. Is there anything I

can do to prevent
this?

Thanks

I think I will try it. I like having the dial up come up automatically when
opening Outlook or Explorer, but I may have to do without it for now.
