chkdsk /f protocol?
Maybe I am just blind to find it in the help files but does chkdsk /f
have a protocol file if it is running after reboot? I really would like to know if it finds something but as the check is usually a good time for a coffee break I miss the whole bit. Is the output of chkdsk during reboot saved somewhere??? Thx, Gerald |

chkdsk /f protocol?

Open Event Viewer and look for an entry in the Application section with Winlogon as the Source and 1001 for the Event ID. Thanks a lot! Found it! What a fool I have been not to expect something like a chkdsk protocol under an application name like winlogon... ;-) Gerald |
