Default This is a good one and I am stumped..

I have Windows XP and IE and when I go to My Computer on the desktop I
cannot see my drives at all. The little timer is thiniking and a flashlite
is searching and finally after about 5/6 minutes, the drives do appear.
Also, when I go to Internet Explorer and go to my C drive, the same thing
happens....this just started the other day and I am completely perplexed.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

No - no virus nor spyware - I did open another query at 7:57 stating that it
is a registery item that is missing...
