Deleting domain from XP Pro
Logging on with domain credentials won't work if the pc
is no longer part of the domain. You would need to set up a local user account and then probably copy files over from the old profile to the new one. (my computer/C:/ documents and settings) - do this whilst logged on as the administrator -----Original Message----- I am trying to switch my dad's laptop running XP pro from a domain to a workgroup. When I switch it to the workgroup it after the restart it won't let me log on as my former account. Only as administrator. Please Help me as I am only a teenager and am trying to learn about networking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! . |
