Default Cannot remove PIL, numpy libraries for Python language from XP

Well, it looks like I cannot remove PIL (Python Image Library) with
control panel remove/add. The dialog just flashes when I push the
button. I tried on an old program not in use, and it did respond as one
would want.

My guess is that I should not have started with removing Python 2.5.2
first. How do I get out of this bind?
