Default Can anyone help with gmail?

I know this isn't a gmail group but I can't find help anywhere including
Google itself. Googling the problem is not bringing up a solution. For
some reason I can't log into my main account, only the second one one. My
password that has worked for years is suddenly being rejected. I can't sign
in online or using Outlook Express. None of the information online works.
Gmail sends the verifications to the email address they will not allow me to
access. WTF? It makes no sense to send a verification to the address they
are rejecting the password to. I can't change the password because I can't
access that account. I can't open a new account because I get routed to the
one old account that is still working. But I don't get mail on that account
as it's an old account of my wifes she still occasionally uses.

Any suggestions how I can get around this problem? Something that works. I
have no way to access my email. Signing out of Google Gmail doesn't work.

I only read the problem set briefly, but I can concur that there's a button
somewhere to send a request to Google to "unlock" your account.

Since I have about five thousand free VPN servers, Gmail hates when I lot
in from, say, Shanghai an hour ago, and Yokahama a half hour ago, and Seoul
now, and often, as a result, Gmail locks me out as a matter of habit.

Then I click that link that they provide, and explain my plight, and they
unlock me about an hour or two later.

Maybe it will work for you?
Dunno as your issue doesn't seem VPN related so take my advice with a grain
of NaCl.

Thanks man. That worked. I have to do this on each computer to get my email.
Must be some new security measure.

They must have some new security thing. If you try and get your mail from
more than one device you can't. You have to go to Google and change the
password on each one, to the new password. Nothing else I tried worked.
They refused to accept the old password on any of them. The above url helped
me do that. Apparently Google knows if you use a different PC or as they
call 'em, a different device to get your mail.

Unless something has changed in the past month or so, that's not
accurate. I've added Gmail accounts to mail programs on two new Android
devices, and Google sent me an email both times asking me to confirm
that it was my device. After that I had full access to Gmail. I did not
have to change any passwords.
