Default Pictures on pdf icons?

Is there any way to get back pictures on File
Explorer's PDF icons? I have Acrobat XI pro.
They worked with Acrobat X.

This works when the folder is opened with Acrobat,

Are you using an x64 OS?

Thumbnails were broken on an x64 OS.

....has a shim that was written to make the 32-bit handler communicate
with the 64-bit OS.

Might be your issue. Might not.

It all works if I use the File Explorer in Acrobat
XI.
And I suspect in Windows File Explorer in the same
session.

I'm investigating this at present...
