Default Is this the beginning of the end

It sounds as if my comp is over working. It is louder. Is this the beginning
of the end or can I fix it?

Can you describe the sound and determine where it is coming from? Does
the PC not perform as well as it used to?

What does a "comp is over working" sound like?

What is "louder"?

Fan noise? Hard drive noise? CD drive noise? High pitches whistel from
the internal speaker?
