Default How to block the Windows Messenger service in WINXP ICS Machine ?

Dear Jonathan
My company have several Windows XP pcs and they all access the
internet through a ICS (Windows XP). I found that all of my employees use
Windows Messenger heavily for entertainment while working. Do you have a way
to block the Windows Messenger service by configuring ICS of ICF ? I don't
want to buy any other software like firewall.

Thanks
Samuel R.

Greetings Samuel,

Unfortunately, I don't know of any real way to do this, even using hosts files and the like
doesn't block it. I would suggest that you or whomever has the power, set up a company
policy for instant messaging.
