2000Pro upgrade to XP Pro (SP2 included) boot failure at LIGHT blu
Installed XP Pro upgrade from 2000 Pro. The XP Pro upgrade says it includes
SP2. It will boot thru the black screen that says "WINDOWS xp", then it goes blank and black, then a light blue screen (not the dark blue sceen of death) comes up with the cursor (which works) but that's it. It will show my desktop whick should come next. Have tried changing bios to boot from CD but don't know what to put at C:\WINNT. Have unhooked all unneccessary hardware. Correction: It will NOT show my desktop which should come next.
