50% RAM Modules Missing?
I just happen to notice a decrease in performance. I have two (2) 512MB SDRAM
Modules 16x(64Mx4) PC133U 3-3-3-5 on my board. I have a few utility prog's that keep track of RAM usage, etc. Well, they are showing that I only now have 512MB total system memory. I checked MS System Properties on the Generalm Tab same thing 512MB. I also checked w/SiSoftware Sandra, same thing. Except it does show my other stick listed on the mainboard info module. I am quite confused on this one. Any ideas? Thanks, Tim |

Remove and reinstall your RAM. You could just have an oxidized contact,
rendering a stick inoperative. Removing/reinstalling will clean the contacts. -- Regards, Richard Urban Quote from: George Ankner "If you knew as much as you thought you know, You would realize that you don't know what you thought you knew!" Thanks, that did it. I didn't see any oxidation. Regardless, it worked. Thank
you. Tim "Richard Urban" wrote: Remove and reinstall your RAM. You could just have an oxidized contact, rendering a stick inoperative.
