User name to log in XP Media Ctr
Good day. I have a new system with XP Media Center. I have changed the
administrators username from Owner to my new name, but everytime I reboot the system, it changes the login username to: Owner. How can I stop this. Again, I have already changed the administrator username to something other than "Owner" thanks. Dr. P |

Hi Malke, thanks. You are right. I just created a new Administrator account
and it worked. Is there anyway to rename the "Owner" username? When I do, it just reverts back to Owner when I logoff or reboot. Thank you. Dr. P "Malke" wrote: Dr. Palpatine wrote: Good day. Malke is giving you sound advice. Never rename default accounts, simply
create a new account with the name and permissions you wish. -- Larry Samuels Associate Expert MS-MVP (2001-2005) Unofficial FAQ for Windows Server 2003 at http://pelos.us/SERVER.htm Expert Zone- www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/expertzone "Malke" wrote in message ...
