cannot log into msn or hotmail

I cannot get onto msn from my laptop, sign into hotmail, apparently send e-mails from outlook express, or get onto a secure site through my school. I am working through a wireless router however, there are 2 other laptops in my house that are not having a
ny problems nor is the home computer having any. My start-up also appears to have become incredibly slow.

MSN v6.1 is telling me that I might have a conection problem to the net but I am using IE right now to post this and Windows Messenger is telling me that m sign-in or password are incorrect (and I ried accessing it manually but to no avail)

Please let me know what I can try
