Strange problem when re-connect dial-up Internet connection

using Windows XP Home.

Have a strange problem on using my dial-up Internet
connection.: When the Internet connection is 1st
connected, everything is fine. I can surf the net using
IE as usual.

However, if I disconnect the connection, then re-dial
again, IE display error message stating that the web page
is not found. This happens even close and re-open IE.

I need to restart the computer then I can surf the net as
usual. The symptom will come again if then I disconnect
the connection.

Anybody suggestion?
