Default Crosscable networking b/t laptop and desktop (ME to XP) and also:

Are you being prompted for a password to the XP drive?

I don't have options my computer says I should have. I go
to "help and support" spots on the computer and it'll give
me instructions on options that aren't even THERE... how
can this be? It should be there if it says it is, right?

I'm using a crossover cable from my desktop w/ XP to my
laptop w/ ME... ME Laptop is recognizing my desktop w/ XP,
but says that the drive isn't accessable and to check
sharing settings.. all is well though.. any help out there?
