Default ! File not available

I have received files from a client over the e-mail and
when I try to open them I continue to get a message that
reads File not available with a ! on a caution symbal. I
don't know how to over ride this. Has anyone had this
experience and what do I do now? I am on a new Dell
computer but all systems are working fine. I also
contacted my LAN server and no problem here. I did
download a trial of Norton security to avoid all the pop-
ups and think this must be part of the problem. Any
advice???
