Touchpad on Windows 8.1 laptop no longer works
In preference to using the touchpad I started using a wireles USB mouse.
This was fine as I had the choice of using the touchpad or the mouse. Unfortunately I also started using a second wireless mouse - like you do - and while both mice worked the touchpad stopped working. How do I get my touchpad working again? John. |

Probably it is disabled. Have you tried by going to: Control Panel\Hardware and Sound Then look for something like this: img01 http://content.screencast.com/users/JT19560819/folders/Jing/media/0b9ddabb-50dc-466a-a662-ca3cd554a9f6/2016-01-21_2230.png When you click on the Mouse icon, you get this: img02 http://content.screencast.com/users/JT19560819/folders/Jing/media/5a8c6136-17d6-4cbe-b0e5-bb84f7e013c2/2016-01-21_2227.png Hope this helps. -- 1. /*This post contains rich text (HTML). if you don't like it then you can kill-filter the poster without crying like a small baby.*/ 2. /*This message is best read in Mozilla Thunderbird as it uses 21st century technology.*/ |
