Default No Audio Device

In Control panel Sounds ... it says No Audio Device, but Device Manager
Sound ... controllers show that my audio controller is working properly.

Any ideas how to rectify the problem?

You'll want to look up
the newest drivers available for your sound card online. Once you have
those, try uninstalling the device from device manager and then
reinstall using the new drivers. You'll probably have to restart
after reinstalling those drivers, after which you should be okay,
provided there is nothing wrong with your hardware or system files
otherwise. Good luck!
