Default Mouse goes past screen on right of screen

When I opened up IE the page opened up on the right side of the screen
farther than I could see. I can drag my pointer over there but can not get it
to come back. Tried restarting and made no difference. Got IE to open in
screen but mouse will still travel to the right farther than the screen is.
Please help.

check your display properties to make sure you don't have
a second monitor enabled.
