Default Critical Updates listed as Not passing Logo Cert.

I just reinstalled XP cause I somewhat screwed up while editing my user security policies(dont ya hate it when your listed as admin but when you try to install a program it says you have to be an admin, lol)

well, I just ran Windows Update, and found something along the lines of 22-26 critical updates.

so I selected all of the ones that did not require to be installed seperately, and selected Install.

well, only about 6 of them successfully installed.

the following did not install because Windows Update said they Did not meet or pass Windows Logo certification/testing.

Critical Update for ADODB.stream (KB870669)
Security Update for Windows XP (KB840315)
Update for Background Intelligent Transfer Service (BITS) 2.0 and WinHTTP 5.1 (KB842773)
Security Update for Windows XP (KB841873)
Security Update for Windows XP (KB840374)
Security Update for Windows XP (KB839645)
Security Update for Windows XP (KB837001)
Security Update for Windows XP (KB828741)
Security Update for Windows XP (KB835732)
Security Update for Microsoft Windows XP (KB828035)
Security Update for Microsoft Windows XP (KB825119)
Critical Update for Windows Media Player Script Commands (KB828026)
Security Update for Microsoft Windows (KB824105)
Security Update for Microsoft Windows (KB823182)
Security Update for Microsoft Windows (KB824141)
814078: Security Update (Microsoft Jscript version 5.6, Windows 2000, Windows XP)

Could someone please tell me why CRITICAL updates on the OFFICIAL windows update page are listed as NOT certified by MICROSOFT???

I would REALLY like to have my PC as secure as possible..

im tired of having to reinstall windows every 2-3 months

Could your system date be wrong? I think certifications only operate within a time window. The last time I ran into that problem, my kids had set my system date (who knows why) to 1999.
