3 hrs to Install Win10 Updates Today
Anyone else?
At least there were no major problems that I experienced after it was finally over. Whew!!! I had it set to manual updating so perhaps that was part of the problem. Win10 64bit HP It was up to date two weeks ago. Buffalo |

[maxed out bandwidth, maxed out CPU, maxed out disk access, stuttery mousie motions and keyboard response, yotta yotta - am I right?] yeah, thanks Micro-****. Hopefully NOT a weekly occurrence. NOT being able to turn it off THREATENS that kind of thing... |

NOT being able to turn it off THREATENS that kind of thing... oh yes, and the reboots, and the excruciatingly slow "updating windows" screens I am very curious on this subject, I am running Win 10 on 2 machines since it came out and am now on the Anniversary edition and I have never experienced any of these update problems and slowdowns! Ver 1607 14393 187 ,And yes the machines are up to date and run from 8:00 am to about 10:00 pm. I never have slowdowns or stalled updates, in fact I never notice them updating. Naturally with exception of the major Anniversary update which took an hour or so. Mostly curious. Regards, Rene |
