My reply was to Notan's "Catch 22" answer, not to you. Go back and read
my post.

And I suspect
everyone else who read the post also knew.

I'm not certain I know what the hell you are talking about now.

And just to annoy you, I will top post this time.

Huh? While I'm a mostly a bottom-inline poster myself, in the
top/bottom posts wars, I'm on the side of letting each person choose
what is right for them.

The problem with helping some people is that just enables them...

Enabling.

Is that similar to what people do when they feed into your silly,
little tirades, by responding to your posts?

Notan

You mean, like you just did?

Catch-22.

Nope, KnowNothing. You could have responded to another poster in
this thread, instead of me, and asked them if they weren't enabling
me by responding to me.

Too bad you weren't bright enough to figure out a non-hypocritical
way of expressing your opinion! ;-)

See how my reply comes after Notan's "Catch 22" comment, not after your
"You mean, like you just did?" question?

It sounds like you're advocating that newsgroups/forums be eliminated so
that no one with knowledge can be an "enabler". I've found that I gain a
great deal of knowledge and information from these groups. I'd had to see
the groups go. Didn't realize that I was being enabled by reading these
groups. BTW, I don't have any scumware on my computer.

Sure you're being enabled. Just because someone uses enabling as a
bad word, don't assume that ability is a bad thing to have nor a bad
thing to share.

Have you noticed that this is how troll get off? They tend to think
the people who have responded to them are bigger fools than they are.
Maybe there is an instance where they're correct in this, but so far,
but this seems quite unlikely.

It does have a derogatory meaning in the context of fat lazy fools
begging for answers to problem that they have caused themselves.

No, a troll just gets off on the attention, positive or negative. I'm
laughing AT you and the rest of the hosers.

They tend to think
the people who have responded to them are bigger fools than they are.

There are some people in this thread I'm not laughing at. I'm only
laughing AT the "Fools and enablers of fools."

Maybe there is an instance where they're correct in this, but so far,

Dude, you don't know what a real troll is!
